This is hard to watch, as there's stupidity all around, but I do think it's instructive. I'm not a big fan of open carry, mind you, but I know that some folks are. While, on balance, I prefer to be discreet, as I think there's real disadvantages to open carry, most times, most places, there are some arguments in favor of it. 1. Bad people -- well, bad people without badges -- tend to avoid hassling people with guns visible. When was the last time you heard about a cop with a gun visible on

Karolina Kurkova has been named the world's sexiest woman by E! entertainment television. Not bad for a woman with no belly button! Karolina is one of the world's highest paid models who requires air brushing every time her midriff is photographed. But this weekend at the Victoria's Secret fashion shoot in Florida, air brushing was not possible as she sashayed down the catwalk in very little lingerie. Having no belly button does not seem to have hindered her career, as last year Forbe

I’m cold, tired and very cranky (I know so what’s so different today from any other right?) and I have to leave work early so my wife can work at our kid’s school’s Chinese Auction. From what I gather at this auction you buy tickets and put them in buckets and there are different tables with prizes and if you hold a winning ticket you get to pick a prize off the table in play. Last year she won Rangers tickets and a free pizza every month for a year at a local pizzeria. That free pizza cost me

Even if its remarkable sophomoric effort, Devotion, was released earlier this year, we still haven’t forgotten about the lovely dreamy sounds of Baltimore, Maryland’s Beach House. The visionary duo of Alex Scally and Victoria Legrand have had quite the year, with theirown personal and intimate tour and the aforementioned album hitting up critic’s lists. Still, it’s been some time since we heard from them. Hell, we were kind of getting worried. However, things are perking up for Scally and Legr

The Knicks might be willing to part with Jamal Crawford to land Al Harrington, and that move seems pretty backwards considering the level of play Wilson Chandler is at right now. Let’s see how this one plays out. The Knicks appear to be close to landing athletic forward Al Harrington from the Golden State Warriors in a trade that possibly could send the team’s leading scorer, Jamal Crawford, out to Oakland, Newsday has learned. Details of the deal were only starting to slip out late last nig
